Environmental Management System (ISO14001)
ISO, which stands for International Organization for Standardization, is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO). Its purpose is to regulate international standards in order to promote fair international treaties and cooperation in various fields. The ISO14001 is an international standard in the area of environmental protection. Its role is to make organizations aware of the environmental impact of their activities and to promote continuous reduction of this impact. An ISO14001 certificate is given to an organization by accreditation authorities only after its environmental management system has been approved.
