Aviation Program

Jet airplanes have become completely integrated into our lives, but JAXA is continuing research on improving their basic technology, achieving higher levels of safety, and minimizing their impact on the environment. This research uses Japan’s most advanced testing equipment, such as the wind tunnel and flight simulator at JAXA’s Chofu Aerospace Center (CAC).
