Public viewing area for the live broadcast of Astronaut Furukawa's ISS expedition mission on June 10 (Fri.)

We offer a public viewing area for the live broadcast of Astronaut Satoshi Furukawa entering the International Space Station (at around 9:00 a.m. on the 10th, JST) at the Kakuda Space Center. The live report is also scheduled to be broadcast on cable TV or through the Internet, but why don't you come to the JAXA facility to support Astronaut Furukawa's mission with us? For more detailed information about the public viewing, please contact the KSC.

  • Date and time (JST): 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. on June 10 (Fri.) (You can enter the room from 8:00.)

Exhibits

Open: 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Closed: Saturday, Sunday, national holidays
Notice: Saturday, Sunday and holidays is basically closed, but we will be open the exhibition room from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. during May to October.

There are exhibits of rocket and ram jet engine parts in the exhibition room. And there are panels that explain of the each research and development.
We're preparing some brochures about jaxa and KSPC.

We hold an open-house day at some of our research facilities twice a year, during Science Week in April and around Space Day on Sep. 12.
