Section 18 of the Canada Corporations Act, chapter C-32 of the Revised Statutes of
Canada, 1970, applies to the company, except that subsection (1) does not apply
in respect of subscriptions for common shares of the company by Her Majesty in
right of Canada or an approved telecommunications common carrier and,
notwithstanding subsection 31(1) of this Act, a reference to letters patent in
paragraph 18(1)(a) of that Act shall
be construed as a reference to the by-laws. R.S., c. T-4, s. 32.
